22 Wooden Ski Day. Annual event at Carter’s XC Ski Center. Free trail pass for folks on wooden skis. Dig out your vintage or retro Nordic ski clothing and get in the spirit of celebrating the history of Nordic Skiing. Prizes will be given
to 3 winners based on the following categories in a Ski Parade at 1pm: Most Old-Timey, Tra- ditional Nordic Ski Wear, and Retro Ski Wear. Ski historian, Glenn Parkinson, from Maine Ski & Snowboard Museum, will share knowledge of Nordic ski history. Bring your ski artifacts to learn more. Norway Brewing Company will be serving beer, and profits will benefit the Maine Ski & Snowboard Museum. 9am-5pm.
