14 Diwali Yoga Life Festival. Diwali is celebrated to mark the triumph of good over evil, the light over the dark. It marks the period of light and love, and it is observed as a dedication to ridding the world of the darkness of ignorance. Each festival at Sat Manav Yoga Ashram is a rare opportunity and offering to the public to step out of daily life and travel back in time to a pure Yoga Ashram reminiscent of ancient India. A day of inspir-
ing intensives, illuminating discourse, uplifting ceremony, incredible food and live music ... all in

22 Thanksgiving Centerpiece Workshop. Create a Thanksgiving tabletop centerpiece in a 6 to 8
inch waterproof container that you bring from
home (or buy here in the gift shop) using dried
flowers and other natural materials. Each guest 5 will be given a kit of materials needed to create
an arrangement. Extra kits and materials will be available for an additional cost. Space is VERY 9 limited and proper use of facial coverings are re- quired to attend this event. The cost is $15 per kit.
This is an RSVP only event with non-refundable payment required at the time of reservation. Workshop times are 12pm to 1:45 pm and 2:00pm

Chester Greenwood Day. Annual celebration in downtown Farmington. Events all day usually in- clude a parade with earmuffs showcased on all of the floats, special sales at downtown businesses, a dip on Clearwater Lake by the local Polar Bear Club, gingerbread contest and more. Drive-Thru Christmas Fair. Hitch up your wagons and caravan on over to Shaker Village for our annual Shaker Christmas Fair -- COVID-19 style! This year we will be hosting the fair through fes- tive Shaker Village and will have tents set up with all the fine goods that you expect to find at the Fair. You and your family will be warm and cozy inside of your car the entire fair, and we will have distanced personal shoppers to help you pick up your favorite Shaker items: Sister Frances’ Fruit- cake, Brother Arnold’s Beer Batter Bread, Sister Elizabeth’s Biscuits, Shaker cooking herbs and tea, Christmas wreaths, handmade bowls, artisan gifts, and plenty more! Credit cards, Apple Pay, Android Pay, cash, and checks accepted for all items at

Christmas at the Mason House. Museums of the Bethel Historical Society. 3-6pm. Visit Bethel Hill’s oldest surviving home to experience Christmas at the Mason House. There will be light refreshments in our barn, music, a children’s holiday story read- ing, and periodic walkthroughs of our historically decorated Period Rooms of the Moses Mason House.
